RED CARD (experienced worker) | CSCS card application | NVQ course application
RED CARD (experienced worker)
is a temporary card; valid for 1 year; issued as soon as you enroll onto NVQ level 2 course.
Once you have completed your NVQ level 2 course you will get a skilled BLUE card (skilled worker) (valid for 5 years).
**Apply if you have worked as a carpenter/ joiner OR painter/ decorator in the past 3 years, and worked for at least 1 year out of those 3 years

If, YES
You will need to:
apply for NVQ level 2 course + pass Health & Safety Test + submitt application to get your CSCS card
Chrome Tree Building can do it all for you! Complete the application form below, choose payment option, make the payment, and you can complete your course as early as in 4 weeks! This means that you will get your RED (experienced worker card) as soon as you apply, and you can get your BLUE card as soon as you finish your course!
* Blue (skilled worker) card costs are not included in this application

£450.00 (minimum pre-payment)
The remaining balance of £250.00 will be payble in 3 monthly instalments. Qualification Certificate will only be issued upon receipt of full payment
£700.00 (full course fee)
The full course fee includes NVQ course, qualification Certificate, Health and Safety Test fee and CSCS red (experienced worker) card.

Important Notes
HEALTH AND SAFETY TEST
1) All CSCS cards applicants must pass the construction health and safety test.
You can enroll onto NVQ level course first, and then pass your Health and Safety test. Or pass your Health and safety Test first and then enroll. It is up to you.
YOUR OCCUPATION
2) Chrome Tree Group® offer NVQ courses for carpenters/ joiners and painters/ decorators only.
If your trade is other than carpenter/ jpiner or painter/ decorator and you require NVQ level 2 course for your trade, please email building@chrometree.co.uk and we would be able to deliver your qualification through the network of our partners.
DO YOU WORK?
3) All our NVQ courses are delivered at your work. Therefore if you do not work, you can apply for your NVQ course and complete the knowledge units of your qualification; however in order to atchieve your qualification you will need to work as our Assessors will need to observe you at work. If you currently don't work you must ensure you find a job within 2 months from your Enrolment; if you don't you will incur a £150 late course fee.
HOW QUICKLY CAN I QUALIFY?
You can qualify as quickly as in 4 weeks! However, you will need to re-enroll if you fail to finish your course within 2 years.
COURSE STARTING DATE
4) All learners for CSCS red (experienced worker) card must start working no later than 2 months after Enrolment onto your course.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A JOB?
5) If you need a job, we may offer you a placement* (subject to availability), enabling you to complete your qualification.
